We believe business ia also about giving back. From creating jobs for refugees to supporting projects like Maggie’s and Adopteer Regenwoud, we use our furniture and our network to create opportunities and make an impact.
Recently, we welcomed a group of refugees to KeyPro. All eager to find work. New to the Netherlands, full of ambition, and still in the middle of their integration courses.
Through a collaboration with the Municipality of Groningen and the Zuidoost Business Association, they were able to take a look behind the scenes at our company. Not to apply straight away, but to discover what it’s like to work at a Dutch business. Some are still exploring their options, while others are already eager to start in a paid role.
Work here is different. Education systems are different. And cultural differences can play a part. That is exactly why this initiative is so valuable: it’s not just about job openings, but about connecting, getting to know each other, and breaking down prejudices.
We hope to soon find someone who’s the right fit. Someone we can offer a great place to work, and who wants to help build a sustainable, circular future.
This is how we create space for growth. For people and for businesses.
During our opening party in April, we raised €3.010 for Adopteer Regenwoud. With this, we have secured 1.204 m² of tropical rainforest in Costa Rica. A beautiful piece of the planet now preserved for future generations.
It inspired us to go further. That is why we now make sure every project gives something back to the earth. Together with Adopteer Regenwoud, we protect a piece of tropical rainforest in Costa Rica with every assignment. A tangible and valuable step towards greater biodiversity and lower CO₂ emissions.
At KeyPro, we hold Maggie’s close to our hearts. Almost everyone knows someone, or has been personally affected, by this devastating disease. Maggie’s offers support, comfort and a listening ear to people with cancer and their loved ones. Something we believe is incredible important.
We help in different ways. Sometimes by providing furniture to make their locations feel warm and welcoming. Other times by actively joining projects and challenges to raise funds. Like the annual September Walking Challenge, where we team up with colleagues and partners to collect as many kilometers and donations as possible.
Step by step, we work towards a place where people truly feel supported.
Social return means giving something back to society. For example, by creating job opportunities for people with limited access to the labour market or by supporting community projects.
Think of refugees, people have been unemployed for a long time, and those who need extra support to re-enter the workforce.
Because we believe business is about more than profit. KeyPro wants to add value to society and contribute to a sustainable future.
We choose projects that align with our core values and truly make a difference for people and nature, such as Maggie’s and Adopteer Regenwoud.
We are happy to explore the possibilities. From joint projects to applying social return in tenders. Contact us at +31 (0)85 002 21 10 or via info@keypro.nl.
At the end of a project, we share the results of your contribution. Such as the number of people supported into work, the square meters of rainforest protected, or other tangible outcomes.
