The shell of this beautiful chair is made from upcycled PET bottles saved from landfills in China. China is struggling with a huge amount of single-use plastic waste. Each chair contains 60 to 100 PET bottles. This design chair, including frame, is 100% recyclable and renewable.
The Thirsty chair is the first act of Zuiver's sustainable mission; an initiative to minimize our ecological and social footprint by exploring alternative materials and production methods.
