Housing associations in the Netherlands have been tasked with making a huge number of homes more sustainable. “We need to upgrade older energy labels to A, or in some cases B. Ultimately, it’s all about sustainability. But just as important is guiding our tenants through the process. We want to support them as best we can throughout the entire renovation project,” explain Annie and Rina from Lefier. After all, tenants experience a lot of disruption when living in a home that is being renovated.
For Lefier, managing temporary rest and stay homes was a complex logistical challenge. When residents had to be relocated due to renovations or maintenance, it came with a wide range of tasks: organizing home visits, furnishing rest and stay homes, coordinating accommodation schedules, and planning cleaning services. A complicated process where even small changes in the schedule could disrupt the entire project. Lefier needed a solution to take part of this workload off their hands — and that’s why they turned to KeyPro.

Number of homes: Over the past years, KeyPro has furnished more than 200 homes, including several apartment complexes. This included both tenants who had to move temporarily due to renovations and students moving into one of the student complexes.

The team was proactive and quick to respond. “When a washing machine breaks down or the internet doesn’t work, all you have to do is call and it gets sorted.”

For example: ‘We’ve been there and it’s resolved.’ This really helps us a lot in managing this part of the project,” they explain.
