Heijmans is one of the largest construction companies in the Netherlands. Natasja van der Wijst is commercial manager at Heijmans Woningbouw Zuid and is also responsible for the sales and marketing of flexible and sustainable homes, such as the Heijmans ONE and TWO. These flexible homes offer an innovative and sustainable solution to the housing crisis. They are built quickly and can be installed temporarily or permanently.

The Challenge

A key step in the preliminary phase is convincing stakeholders: residents, municipalities, and housing associations need to be able to see and experience how a flexible home functions. For a project in Putten, Heijmans wants to install a single Heijmans ONE to give the neighborhood and future tenants a realistic impression of the living experience.

“We previously tried to create a model home with paper furniture, but that simply didn’t work. The Approach

Natasja had already become acquainted with KeyPro during the Ukraine project (Mijra in Vlaardingen), where Heijmans built flexible homes. However, the furnishing of these homes was handled by the municipality at the time.
