What’s Actually Inside the Mattress?

At first glance, it looks like a regular mattress. Look a little closer, and you’ll see what sets it apart.

No foam. No glue. No tangled mix of materials that can’t be separated. This mattress is made from just two materials: steel and polyester.

At the core are steel springs. Strong, supportive, and built to be used again and again. The rest – the cover, comfort layers, and side panels – is made from mono-polyester. One pure material. No blends. That’s the key to taking the mattress apart later, recycling it properly, and giving it a next life.

So every layer becomes a building block for the next generation of mattresses. And valuable materials stay in the loop, time after time.

What Do You Get Out of It?

Every choice matters. With this mattress, your impact starts immediately. A traditional mattress often ends up in landfill or the incinerator. This one is designed for a next life.

Because it’s built without foam or glue, the materials stay clean and fully reusable. That means less waste, fewer new raw materials, and lower CO₂ emissions.

And it’s not a one-off. The mattress can be recycled into a new mattress up to eight times, using the same materials. That keeps those materials in circulation for almost a century.
